Formerly know as CAW Local 1285 (Canadian Auto Workers), Unifor Local 1285 is a large automotive workers union in Brampton, Ontario. The union’s history started in the late 1930 and today is the largest local union in Brampton. There are over 5000 members, all of which have access to the Unifor Group Home and Auto Insurance program. Unifor group insurance is also available to spouses, dependent children and employees of Unifor Local 1285.
